High performance SS7 and SIGTRAN protocol software from Aculab

SIGTRAN and SS7 present the same business opportunity – it’s a choice between TDM- and IP-based transports at the network level. IP-based signalling transport architectures provide telcos/cellcos with a more flexible and efficient model, resulting in lower capital and operating expenses as well as increased capacity and performance through a faster link speed and higher bandwidth. Aculab offers SS7 and SIGTRAN as part of its extensive range of signalling protocols, allowing users to connect switching, media processing and signalling platforms directly to a carrier’s network. Development investment protection is assured for those currently using Aculab’s ISUP and TCAP APIs with MTP1-3 as the APIs remain the same when using M3UA/SCTP for signalling transport.
