Pre Sales Technical Consultant
Aculab currently has a vacancy for a Pre Sales Technical Consultant. This individual will focus on understanding the technical requirements of new and existing customers and will assist Account Managers with proposing the appropriate Aculab solution to meet these requirements. The Pre Sales Technical Consultant will also conduct technical training courses and assist in Professional Services activities. The position is located in Needham, MA. The primary roles and objectives are:

Deliver technical consultancy and support to prospect, partners, and customers |
|
Deliver ‘paid for’ training and education to prospects, partners, and customers |
|
Take part in industry events conferences, exhibitions, seminars |
|
Provide technical validation of customer Request for Change (RFC) as required |
|
Evaluate, nominate, and support field trialists as part of Aculab’s NPI process |
|
Contribute to and help execute account plans |
|
To play a part in the global sales team ensuring Aculab maximizes opportunities from our prospects and existing customers |
|
Ensure that the appropriate Aculab resources are utilised in support of customers and prospects |
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in technical role with converged communication applications. “C” language programming experience is required. The candidate must be an excellent communicator and professional in representing Aculab. The individual must be self motivated and able to thrive in a flat organization. They must be a team player, confident and personable, and willing and able to travel.
Applicants must have, at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree. Experience with enabling technology solutions and Voice over IP (VoIP) applications a plus.
