Touchstone Technologies, Inc. is a manufacturer of world-class testing solutions for the Voice over IP and Video Teleconferencing markets. Founded in 1989 as Delta Protocol Test Solutions, we incorporated as Touchstone Technologies, Inc. on January 1, 2004. Our products help leading equipment manufacturers, carriers, service providers, and large enterprise users build and deploy reliable, standards compliant, and interoperable communications systems.
Touchstone employees and directors have been key participants in the development of many of the ITU-T recommendations in use today for voice and multimedia communications. Our company initially arose in response to an unmet need in the rapidly emerging voice and video communications market: for instruments to accurately test emerging codec technology for standards compliance. As a pioneer in the field, Delta Protocol Test Solutions led the way in providing testing solutions for the converging telephone, voice, video and IP markets.
Touchstone continues this tradition with our current product line. Representing the second and third generation of these solutions, they are unsurpassed in their combination of power, portability and affordability. Our products are 100% software-based and represent the state-of-the-art in VoIP testing technologies.
Product overview
Specializing in delivering exceptional value in state-of-the-art voice and video test and measurement products, Touchstone offers scalable call generation and monitoring tool packages for active and passive testing of networks and network devices. The WinSIP and Win323 real-time call generators are used to load test networks and devices as well as stress test components. For example, WinSIP can generate up to 5,000+ signaling calls and up to 2,500 calls with audio and video media. WinSIP and Win323 provide extensive call metrics for signaling and media elements to help diagnose network latencies and bottlenecks. Call control options are provided to emulate real world conditions such as post dial delay and ring durations as well as call patterns with variable hold time, start delay, inter-call delay and post-error delays. By using a top down, call-centric architecture, WinEyeQ serves as both a real-time traffic monitor as well as a detailed call analyzer replete with media QoS (R Factor and MOS scores), user definable alerts, alarms, and watches. With WinEyeQ you can record calls (including audio/video channels), capture calls and media streams, record and replay native or WinPCap format (Ethereal) capture files, generate detailed call record, endpoint history, network summary and error reports.
