The software package, which you are about to download and install, contains ITU-T G.723.1A and G.729AB codecs.

You should be aware, these codecs are based on patented technology and the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are owned by a consortium of several organisations and licensed through agents. The agents are Sipro Lab Telecom (www.sipro.com) and the DSP Group (www.dspg.com).

In accordance with international law, in case you have an intention to use either of these codecs in your solution, you have a legal requirement to pay licensing fees to an IPR agent. While Aculab provides access to the codecs functionality, you are still legally obliged to contact an IPR agent and conform to their patents licensing procedure.

In order to grant you access to the software package, you are asked to provide some details about your company. It is mandatory to complete this form as Aculab is legally obliged to submit your details to one of the above agents.

You must also have your company’s authority to complete this form as we will submit an invoice for payment if you choose to purchase the codecs directly from Aculab Plc. All prices quoted may change as they are subject to currency fluctuations.
