What can I check before contacting technical support if I am having difficulty with GroomerII SS7 (C7)?

Check the following: -

  1. E1/T1 trunk has been enabled by your telecommunications provider.
  2. The cabling is not damaged.
  3. The telecommunications provider has configured the line to the protocol you requested.

The CRC status of the line.

  1. You have the information regarding CICs (circuit identification codes).
  2. You have the information regarding SLCs (signalling link codes).
  3. You have the information regarding local SP or SPs, remote SP or SPs.
  4. You have the information regarding STP or STPs etc.
  5. You have the information regarding signalling timeslots.
