2017-05-31 ACT and Licence Manager now supports automatic upgrade to new-style licences

Aculab is pleased to announce the release of updated telephony software components, for Windows and Linux distributions, following successful QA testing.

Windows

These software components have been issued as full release components of Aculab 6.6 software.

The above ACT and Licence Manager v4.x components support the new Aculab licensing mechanism and allow a customer to upgrade an installed legacy key to a new-style key without the need to send key string information to Aculab support.

We advise customers who have recently downloaded the updated v4.x licensing files to make sure they access these latest versions.

The updated telephony software components, together with release notes, are now available for download via the Aculab installation tool (AIT) which is available on the software downloads page of Aculab’s website: http://www.aculab.com/downloads/
The downloads area also includes links to quick start guide for the new system and a process flowchart for licensing.

Users of the AIT do not need a password and user name to run the installation package and download Aculab software. However, Aculab strongly recommends that users employ a unique, company specific user name and password.
