REST API

The REST API is a simple API designed to make it very easy for web developers to write voice and fax REST applications for Aculab Cloud using Python, C#, VB, Java, PHP or any other scripting language.

A REST application is a series of web pages that control how Aculab Cloud handles outbound and inbound calls. You can host your application pages on any web server, for example Apache, IIS, Tomcat, etc.

You can download one of our high-level language wrappers or use any language to interpret and respond to the JSON requests that come from Aculab Cloud.

Note: the version of REST API you are using in your REST application must match the REST API Version set for the Outbound and Inbound Services that request it.
